Im a Chip

Im a Chip

Well Im a Chip is finished.. as the event was a night time race it was important to give the illusion that his ears and the top of his head which being a bay would be almost invisisable against.

I also add a little more dark green behind him to make his legs stand out.

I'm a Chip - work in progress

Made a lot of progress on I'm a Chip or Chippy as he is called... finished the gig and made good progress on Chippy's body... Now its just a matter of finishing off his body and the harness.

Im a Chip - work in progress

Ive started work on the drivers silks adding the darks to his jacket along with his white pants... The gig has been an interesting challenge with all those bits of unfamilar harnes...

Lastly Ive started blocking colour on  Im a Chip's  body giving direction to his muscles out lining the darks and lights

Im a Chip -Work in progress

Having been working on pop art pieces for the last few weeks its been lovely to start a new equine commission... Im enjoying the challenge of this piece with the harness and background.

For those who regularly follow my work will know that backgrounds are something I don't often include in my work.. This commission however needed the background to tell the story of Im a Chip's win..
