The Brumby Whisperer Stage 2

Started work on the horses head .. blocking his head and neck... and started work on the horseman's face and beard..

Some artists make beards on men look so easy.. Ive decided its a challenge as you don't want it to look like a line around the jaw but don't want it to look like a muddy puddle either.

Will continue working on the horse and then come back and re-work the horseman's face..

Early last year I created a large portrait of Roxie for her owners. They loved her and her portrait so much that Leigh asked me to do a smaller version of the orginal large portrait. So here is Roxie II she has he most amazing eyes and I can surely see why they loved her so much.

Gypsy is a recent Pop Art pup portrait, I have to admit it was a lot of fun painting her portrait.

Currently working on a huge pop art work 90 cm x 120cm that is a compilation of a whole heap of dogs. which will be offered for sale.

Roxie the staffie. what a girl this little lady was commissioned for a birthday present by Leigh for her husbands birthday. She has such character for an elderly girl and is much loved.
